What does Proverbs 14:23 Meaning?

Proverbs 14:23 describes a powerful message that can bring great results to those who wish to become rich or live in biblical prosperity. It emphasizes that a person should give importance to hard work and with it will come the rewards. The law of betrayal.

The verse from Proverbs 14:23 is written as follows: “In all labor there is profit, but only words lead only to poverty.”

In all labor there is profit: Work in the Bible is not just a little word that has no meaning – except to kill yourself working, that is the logic thought by more than 60% of people. However, the word work in Hebrew brings the sense of worship to God. That is, we can see in the verse from Proverbs 14 that it points out that there is a connection between hard work and profitability. In other words, getting your hands dirty will bring with it positive results that will provide days of plenty. Solomon points out that anyone who is willing to work hard will certainly enjoy abundance, success and growth.

But just talking leads to poverty: Another point that the same verse points out is that just talking will bring you poverty, because it does not transform ideas into actions. In contrast, the same verse describes that there are two sides to the coin – each person must pay attention and put into practice everything they think, otherwise it will become an empty desert and a life without flavor. Generally, those who only complain give life because they only talk and do not have the courage to put into practice everything they say.

The meaning of Proverbs 14:23 is associated with man’s productivity. A man (man and woman) will always feel empty and poor in financial matters or not. The question is not only about having but also about being. Proverbs is a great source of information that helps manage time and, over time, acquire resources.

Furthermore, the only time the Bible mentions that God laid His hand on man was in Genesis, at creation. God doesn’t need to give you anything, He has already given you everything you need – He gave you salvation, gifts and much more. The potential is in each person – just do what Proverbs says “work and work” and this will bring glory to anyone who decides to pay the price.

Here he describes that in all hard work there is profit – that is, nothing that man does is by chance. If you start something today, don’t give up – make it work. Do some brain training and put it in your hard drive that giving up is no longer an option in your life. Therefore, this law applies to all mortal beings, if you work with dedication and without complaining, you will reap many fruits later. However, if you just talk like a parrot, nothing will change and this will lead you to poverty and misery.

Proverbs 14:23 (another translation) “In all hard work there is profit, but the talk of the lips only leads to poverty.
